Treat yourself to a wonderful half-day boat excursion in the Bay of Taormina.
Set sail on a 10-metre motor boat with a hostess and skipper at your disposal and get ready to admire enchanting views of the coastline, from Capo Taormina to the Scoglio del Fico andIsola Bella.
You will be enchanted by the water of the Grotta Azzurra which, depending on the light, changes from emerald green to turquoise. You will also admire the Baia delle Sirene, the Baia di San Nicolò and the imposing Scoglio dell'Elefante. What are you waiting for to book?
What we will do
The meeting is at 10 a.m. at the port of Giardini Naxos, where the skipper will be waiting for us. After due introductions, we will board the boat for our exclusive use. It is a10-metre motor boat, with every comfort we need.
We will then be ready to set off to discover the most beautiful views of the Bay of Taormina. We will have the chance to admire Cape Taormina and the Scoglio del Fico, a stacks whose shape resembles that of a prickly pear.
We will then head towardsIsola Bella. The view of the small islet in the middle of the sea, with its rich Mediterranean vegetation, is bound to enchant us, as is the marvellous sea of the Grotta Azzurra.
The boat will then take us to the Baia delle Sirene, the Baia di San Nicolò and the Scoglio dell'Elefante, which the locals call 'Zu' Innaru'. This is a large rock north of the Bay of Taormina, which the sea water has sculpted to resemble an elephant.
The boat will allow us to get close to all these natural wonders and take a swim in the blue sea of the bay. We can also put on fins, mask and snorkel and snorkel while observing the rich marine flora and fauna in this unforgettable corner of Sicily.
After about four hours of excursion, we will return to the port of departure.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is open to everyone, with no age limit. There is no need to be an experienced swimmer, as life jackets are available on board.
Other information
Private excursions take place daily from 20 May to 20 September, weather permitting.
We will be on board an elegant motor boat 10 m long and 3.5 m wide, built in 2017 and equipped with every comfort, including a cabin that sleeps 2, an awning, sundeck fore and aft, galley, WC and deck shower. Dogs are not allowed on board.
Snorkelling enthusiasts can bring all their equipment with them and the skipper will direct the boat to spots where the seabed is rich in corals.
