Private dinghy tour to Torre Salsa in the Agrigento area

Embark on an exclusive dinghy tour and immerse yourself in the unspoilt nature of Torre Salsa, along the Agrigento coastline.

You will sail in the company of an expert skipper until you enter the heart of the oriented nature reserve, cared for by the WWF and breeding ground for the Caretta Caretta sea turtles. You will visit Scala Dei Turchi, the Baia della Madonnina and the Caletta del Cappellaccio, diving into the crystal-clear waters or admiring the landscape from a unique perspective

What we will do

Departure is scheduled for 9.30 am at the marina of San Leone, in the province of Agrigento. Here we will be met by the skipper and, after boarding our dinghy for our exclusive use, we will set off in the direction of the Torre Salsa Reserve.

We will sail along the Agrigento coastline, passing by the Akragas river and skirting the Maddalusa beach and the Bay of Chaos, so dear to the writer Pirandello. Once past Porto Empedocle we will see the beach of Marinella and, after a few minutes, Realmonte and the beautiful Scala Dei Turchi.

We will stop here for our first stop, during which we can take a swim in the clear waters and enjoy the magical light of this place. We will then set off towards the Monterosso lighthouse, where we will make our second stop in front of the spectacular Madonnina Bay with its natural pools, clear seabed and shallow water, ideal for a swim with the children.

We will then arrive at the Saracen Tower and Caletta del Cappellaccio and, after passing Giallonardo, we will take a refreshing lunch break, which will allow us to recover our energy and tackle the most beautiful part of the day.

In fact, we will enter the heart of the Torre Salsa nature reserve, where we can easily admire sea turtles, dolphins and pink flamingos . In addition, we will be able to dive in for another refreshing swim or admire the breathtaking view from the comfort of the boat.

Our tour will reach the end of the line after a few more miles, just before Eraclea Minoa, where we will say goodbye to the Reserve at the mouth of the Platani river. At that point we will relax on the return journey, completing our fantastic tour.

In total, the excursion will last five and a half hours.

The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit.

Other information

Attention! Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of the activity.

The activity takes place from May to October, depending on weather and sea conditions, and is reserved for private groups of up to 11 participants.

Depending on the size of the group and the availability of boats, we will be on board an almost 7-metre motorised dinghy or a 6-metre 40 hp motor boat with a freshwater shower and rollbar with a canopy.

During the excursion it is possible to take a 15-minute tour with a towable sofa at an extra charge of €10 to be paid locally.

Small dogs are welcome on board.
