Beech and pine forests, lakes interspersed with dense vegetation, wild animals and ancient legends: it sounds like the beginning of a fairy tale but it is the Sila National Park and with this one-hour experience you can explore it on a quad bike!
Come to Cotronei (KR), a municipality in beautiful Calabria, get on board your quad bike and follow an expert guide on a 16 km excursion into the nature of the park. Sharpen your eyesight and try to spot the animals that inhabit it, or immerse yourself in the beauty of the surrounding scenery.
At the end of the day, you will really feel like you have lived in a fairy tale for a few moments!
What we will do
We will meet at the meeting point in Cotronei (KR). Our guide will be waiting for us there, who will provide us with some valuable information on the activity in a briefing of about 10 minutes. Afterwards, we will be ready for a quick test ride on the quad bike, which will help us understand how to accelerate, brake and steer the vehicle. The quads are all state-of-the-art and very comfortable.
Ready to go, the guide will position himself at the head of the group and we will follow. After an initial stretch of asphalt road, we enter the Sila National Park and travel along very easy dirt roads, framed by dense vegetation consisting mainly of beech and pine trees.
Along the 16 km route we will pass one of the park's enchanting lakes and continue until we reach anairfield. After about 30 minutes of hiking, it will be possible to swap places between driver and passenger.
Along the way, we can't help but be fascinated by the surrounding nature. Many animal species live in the park, including foxes and badgers , and if we are lucky, we may even catch a glimpse of one!
The activity lasts about 1 hour in total.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone. The driver of the quad bike must be at least 16 years old and hold a B, B1 or A1 driving licence. The passenger, on the other hand, must be at least 1. 20 mtall. Alternatively, on request it is possible to conduct the tour on board a Can-Am (4-seater) or Buggy (2-seater) with no age limit for the passenger.
Persons with disabilities may participate in the activity in the role of passengers, subject to contacting the facility via the contact details you will receive in your booking confirmation email.

The activity takes place every day of the year.
The organiser has at its disposal 20 quads capable of carrying 1 driver + 1 passenger for a total of 40 participants.
Dogs are not allowed on the quad bike, alternatively you can book our buggy tour where dogs are allowed.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
