Would you have ever guessed that 15 minutes from Palermo hides a... wood?
That's right, our guide is waiting for you in Monreale to take you on a discovery tour of the Casaboli forest on board a blazing quad bike, with which you will cross dirt roads, clearings and streams.
A4-wheel adventure lasting 30 minutes or 1 hour: you choose the duration!
What we will do
The meeting point is 20 minutes before the time selected during the booking process at the meeting point at Piano di Casaboli in Monreale (PA).
We will be welcomed by our guide, ready to lead us through the paths of the Casaboli forest! Before setting off, we will listen to a short briefing and take a test ride, after which we will be ready to go!
We will drive the whole time on dirt roads between clearings and streams. If we choose the 1-hour route, we will reach an altitude of 1,100 metres on a quad bike, from which it will be possible to admire the whole of Palermo's Conca d'Oro from above.
The short 30-minute route, on the other hand, will take place entirely in the forest and will offer us panoramic views of the city. Of course, there will be no shortage of stops to take some souvenir photos!
We will finally return to the meeting point. The activity will last a total of 30 minutes or 1 hour, depending on the option selected.
Who it is aimed at
The driver must be at least 16 years old and hold an A, A1 or B driving licence. The passenger must be at least 7 years old.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable for a first time quad rider.
Other information
The excursion is available from March to November and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 booked quads.
During the tour driver and passenger can swap driving, provided they both meet the requirements.
The organiser has 4 quads available that can carry 1 driver + 1 passenger for a total of 8 participants.
The price is per quad; each quad can carry 1 driver or 1 driver and 1 passenger (2 persons).
The excursion takes place inside an adventure park where it is possible to carry out other activities, stop at the equipped barbecue area or use the bar service: contact the organiser at the contact details given in the confirmation e-mail to book services.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
