With this guided quad bike tour, you'll drive from Montefranco along dirt tracks and breathtaking views until you reach Lake Piediluco. A 2-hour route through forests and hills, with stops to admire the landscape, explore medieval villages and take unforgettable photos.
And to end on a high note, a delicious aperitif will be waiting for you on the way back!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Montefranco (TR), where we will find the guide to welcome us.
After a briefing on the route and the characteristics of the quad bike, we will be ready to set off! We will travel an initial section along the Valnerina state road, after which we will take an uphill dirt road, plunging through dense undergrowth until we reach theHermitage of Madonna dello Scoglio. The uncontaminated nature and the silence of the woods make this stretch particularly evocative.
We continue on to the Forca di Arrone, where the paths cross, and then descend towards Lake Piediluco. Here we will stop to visit the picturesque village of the same name overlooking the water, dominated by the ruins of the medieval castle. We will have time to admire the view, capture the moment and enjoy the unique atmosphere of the lake.
From here we will return to the meeting point, following a scenic route that will allow us to appreciate the beauty of the Valnerina once again. Once we have returned the quad bike, a well-deserved aperitif of typical Umbrian products will be waiting for us, accompanied by a glass of local wine.
In total, we will cover 25 km on a quad bike for a total duration of about 2 ½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The tour is suitable for everyone from 6 years upwards. The driver must be at least 21 years old and have a B licence.
Other information
The excursion is available all year round.
During the tour, driver and passenger can swap driving, provided they both meet the requirements.
The organiser has 2 quads available that can carry 1 driver + 1 passenger for a total of 4 participants.
The meeting point can also be reached by public transport.
