Set off from Viterbo to discover the Etruscan Necropolis of Castel d'Asso, one of the most fascinating archaeological sites in Tuscia.
In about 2 hours, you will ride 30 km through wild dirt tracks , hidden catacombs , open-air necropolis and a suggestive ford, always under the supervision of a guide who knows this area like the back of his hand!
What we will do
The appointment is 20 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Viterbo (VT) . Awaiting us will be the guide who will accompany us on the excursion to the Etruscan Necropolis of Castel d'Asso.
Once all participants have gathered, we will receive a full briefing on the use of the quad bike and essential safety rules. We will also take a test ride on a circuit of about 800 metres to get the maximum confidence with the vehicle, so that we can get into the swing of things without any worries!
At this point, we will set off on our off-road itinerary, tackling a 90% dirt track that will take us through catacombs and open-air necropolises in the Necropolis of Castel d'Asso. We will cover approximately 30 km between paths rich in history, more technical stretches and a suggestive ford that will add a touch of adventure to the experience.
We will finally reach the Castle of Castel d'Asso, where we will stop to admire the panorama and the place in all its beauty. Here the guide will take photos and videos that will be sent to us free of charge in the days following the excursion.
We will finally return to the meeting point in Viterbo where we will conclude the excursion. The activity will last about 2 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The driver must be at least 18 years old and have a B licence. The passenger must be at least 6 years old.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable for a first time quad rider.
During the ride, driver and passenger can swap driving, provided they meet the requirements (B licence and at least 18 years of age) .
Other information
The excursion is available all year round and does not require a minimum number of bookings to be confirmed.
The organiser has 10 two-seater qu ads at its disposal; each quad can carry 1 driver or 1 driver and 1 passenger for a maximum total of 20 participants.
The available quads are all 4x4s with four-wheel drive and no maximum weight limit (up to 380 kg total per quad) .
There is free parking on site for guests. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
