From Piombino, one usually leaves to visit enchanting places and beautiful islands. But, when you stay, you may be lucky enough to have aunique experience!
Join us for a 3-hour SUP tour in the Gulf of Salivoli and paddle along the coast while standing on your board and admiring the view.
No more ships and ferries: it's time to set off on anadventure aboard your SUP!
What we will do
The meeting will take place at the meeting point in Piombino (LI), at the time indicated when booking.
We will find our instructor waiting for us directly on the beach, where we will take part in a brief introduction to the world of SUP. We will be introduced to theequipment, safety rules , and will be explained the paddling techniques we will use during the tour.
Having learnt the basics of SUP, we will be ready to head out into the gulf! We will approach paddling and, step by step, get to stand on the board. When we find our balance, we will start paddling along the coast, out of the gulf.
Depending on the wind, we will head south or north, being able to admire the town of Piombino from the sea, the picturesque medieval port, Piazza Bovio , and even a sea cave in the gulf. We will discover unique places, accessible only by sea!
During the excursion, our instructor will play the role of the perfect cicerone, entertaining us with curiosities, historical facts and fun facts about the area we will explore on board our agile boards. We will also have the opportunity to take a short break in one of the coves we encounter, to enjoy a moment of relaxation and rest.
After about two hours spent paddling in the gulf, we will return to the meeting point. The experience will last a total of 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from 5 years of age. Participants aged between 5 and 13 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Swimming skills are required for the activity.
Other information
The activity is available from June to October, and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 2 participants.
Facilities, storage for personal belongings and a refreshment point are available at the meeting point.
Dogs are not allowed.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport; free parking spaces are available on site.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
