Paddling standing on the surface of the water is the best way to tune into the calm rhythm of an ancient volcanic basin!
Join this SUP tour on Lake Albano in Castel Gandolfo, in the province of Rome. Together with experienced guides, you will explore the wildest and most unspoilt shore of the lake, far from the bathing establishments.
A relaxing 1. 5-hour experience combining sport and nature, complemented by a pleasant aperitif!
What we will do
The appointment is at the meeting point in Castel Gandolfo (RM) . The staff will welcome us by providing the necessary technical equipment: SUP board, paddle and a comfortable waterproof bag for personal belongings.
Before entering the water, the guide will give a brief theoretical and practical introduction to illustrate how to steer the board safely and maintain balance.
We will then set off towards the northern part of Lake Albano, the least man-made area and richest in vegetation. We will paddle for about 40 minutes and reach a spot perfect for observing the local fauna up close, including fish, geese and wild turtles. Along the way, the guide will tell anecdotes and curiosities about the natural features of this beautiful stretch of water.
When we reach the point of maximum interest, we will stop for about 10 minutes for a dip in the water. Afterwards, we will resume navigation, stopping at a secluded beach or directly in the middle of the lake to rest and take a few souvenir photos.
After about 1. 5 hours of the excursion, we will return to the starting base. Here the experience will continue ashore: it will be possible to use a sunbed by the pool (included) and enjoy an aperitif (included) with typical products such as pizzas, sandwiches and chips.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is accessible from 6 years of age. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. You must be at least 14 years old to paddle alone on your own board: younger children (6 to 13 years old) will share the SUP with a parent.
Swimming skills are required to participate. The experience is not suitable for pregnant women or people with motor disabilities.
Other information
The experience is available from April to October and will be confirmed with a minimum of 4 participants.
Toilets, showers and changing rooms are available at the meeting point.
Small/medium-sized dogs are allowed.

There is free secure parking on site. The resort can also be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
