SUP tour in Monte di Procida

Enjoy stand-up paddling on your board with a 2-hour SUP tour in the calm stretch of sea between Monte di Procida and theislet of San Martino. Your expert guide will be on hand to give you tips and advice to improve your paddling technique and to learn the basics of Stand-Up-Paddle if this is your first time.

You will paddle a total of 4 km and circumnavigate the islet, which was once attached to the mainland. The guide will make the outing even more exciting by telling you many details and curiosities about St Martin.

The tour includes, among other things, a first stop on the beach and a second stop in a cove with a bath and final toast. We are waiting for you!

What we will do

We will meet at 10:00 a.m. in Monte di Procida (NA) with our guide, ready to hand out all thenecessary equipment to start the activity.

After a briefing, we will put our boards in the water and prepare to get on and paddle. The guide will be on hand to give us tips and advice on paddling the right way or keeping our balance on the board.

After all, SUP is an easy sport to learn and, with just a few tricks, it can become really fun and also be a good exercise for improving muscles and balance. It is no coincidence that it has become one of the most popular water sports in recent years.

Once we are on our feet, we will follow our guide along the one-kilometre-long route to the Isolotto di San Martino, which was detached from Monte di Procida by a geological event (supposedly a tidal wave) in 1488. We will then paddle in the particularly calm stretch of water between the island and the town.

Once we arrive at our destination, we will circumnavigate the islet and make a first stop on the beach and a second stop in a smaller but very picturesque cove. During the stops, the guide will tell us a number of interesting facts and details about theislet of San Martino. The SUP route will be 4 km in total.

We will end the experience with a nice toast all together. We will, among other things, also have the opportunity to take a swim before standing on the board again and returning to the starting point. The experience lasts about 2 hours in total.

Who it is aimed at

The activity is aimed at everyone from the age of 8. No experience is necessary, just the ability to swim. Parents are required to accompany children under 14 years of age.

Other information

The excursion is held all year round, subject to weather and sea conditions. The sea must be calm in order to practice SUP.

The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

Small dogs are allowed on the beach.

The membership card andliability insurance are included in the fee.

Changing rooms and showers with hot water are available on site.
