Splash , that's the sound of you diving into the sea of Sardinia.
But let's take a step (nay, a paddle) back: before you go swimming, a SUPexcursion awaits you among the Roman ruins of Nora, a few kilometres from Cagliari.
A two-and-a-half-hour guided tour that will have all the charm of a journey back in time!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Nora (CA), where our guide will be waiting for us.
Once all the participants have gathered, we will receive the necessaryequipment to carry out the activity, i.e. SUP, paddle and dry bag. This will be followed by a brief explanation on land to learn how to paddle, after which we will be ready to leave.
From Su Guventeddu beach, paddle after paddle, we will plunge into breathtaking scenery, surrounded by jagged cliffs and crystal-clear waters.
Led by our guide, we will cross the bay, passing by the imposing Tower of San Macario, to gradually approach the Roman ruins of Nora, a place steeped in history where the stones are polished by time and the sea flows through the cracks in the walls.
At about the halfway point, if we wish, we can take a refreshing swim, after which we will be ready to return to the starting point, after travelling about 1.5 km.
The tour will take about 2½ hours in total .
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from 5 years of age. Children aged 5 to 10 years participate free of charge on board a SUP with an adult.
Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult during the activity; for children under the age of 18, a signed authorisation is sufficient.
A maximum weight of 120 kg, good mobility and physical fitness are required.
It is not necessary to know how to swim to participate and the organiser can provide a life jacket if required.
Other information
The activity takes place from April to October, depending on weather and sea conditions, and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
Thestart time of the activity will be confirmed the day before departure, depending on weather and sea conditions.
There are no changing rooms on site. We recommend arriving with your swimming costume already on.
During the excursion, a waterproof bag is provided for storing personal items, which can also be left in a van parked near the meeting point.
Dogs are not allowed during the activity.
There is a pay car park on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
