You are in Santa Margherita di Pula, but there was someone else before you. And no, not just any people, but the ancient Romans!
And in the waters where you paddle the SUP for two and a half hours, they were already passing through with trading ships thousands of years ago.
The most surprising side of this excursion? Knowing that the era is different, but the view is as incredible as ever.
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Santa Margherita di Pula, a hamlet of the municipality of Pula (CA), where our guide will be waiting for us.
Once all the participants have gathered, we will receive the necessaryequipment to carry out the activity, i.e. SUP, paddle and waterproof bag. This will be followed by a brief explanation on land to learn how to paddle, after which we will be ready to leave.
From Riva dei Pini Beach, paddle after paddle, we will leave the crowds of the shoreline behind us and be catapulted into a breathtaking scenery of hidden sea caves and crystal-clear waters.
The route will continue to a stretch of coastline used by the ancient Romans for maritime travel and trade. Thanks to our guide's stories, it will be easy to imagine them admiring our own views!
During the tour, we will also have the opportunity to cool off with a swim, admiring up close the rock formations emerging from the sea.
We will then return to our starting point. The tour will last about 2½ hours in total .
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from 5 years of age. Children aged 5 to 10 years participate free of charge on board a SUP with an adult.
Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult during the activity; for children under the age of 18, a signed authorisation is sufficient.
A maximum weight of 120 kg, good mobility and physical fitness are required.
It is not necessary to know how to swim to participate and the organiser can provide a life jacket if required.
Other information
The activity takes place from April to October, depending on weather and sea conditions, and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
Thestart time of the activity will be confirmed the day before departure, depending on weather and sea conditions.
There is a bar at the meeting point where snacks can be purchased and toilets can be used. There are no changing rooms; it is recommended that you arrive with your swimming costume already on.
During the hike, a waterproof bag is provided for storing personal items, which can also be left in a van parked near the meeting point.
Dogs are not allowed during the activity.
There is a pay car park on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
