Full description
Experience the beauty of the Bay of Naples by paddling a SUP along the coast of the Posillipo district, past small beaches and period villas.
After a briefing with the instructor, you'll hop on the board for a 2-hour tour that will take you on a discovery of stories and curiosities about the city. Between swimming stops and a stroll around Villa Lauro, you'll enjoy the experience of paddling with views of Vesuvius and Castel dell'Ovo in the distance.
Get ready for the thrills of Stand Up Paddle!
What we will do
We will meet at the SUP school in the Posillipo district of Naples. Before we put our SUPs in the water, the instructor will give us a short briefing to explain the safety rules so that we can enjoy the excursion in peace.
Depending on our level of experience, we will be able to paddle standing up on the Stand Up Paddle board or kneeling or sitting down, as if it were a kayak. The choice is free and simply depends on whether you are more or less able to stay balanced.
We will head along the coast to the left and enjoy the view of Naples with its architectural and natural gems, such as Castel dell'Ovo and Vesuvius in the distance.
Paddling along, we will reach Villa Lauro, a monumental mansion at the foot of the Posillipo hill. Here we will get off the boards to take a short walk. On the way, the instructor will tell us a series of interesting facts about the history of Naples and the places we will see. If time permits, it will be possible to continue to a nearby beach for a swim.
If sea conditions do not allow this route, the instructor will propose a different but equally interesting route from a naturalistic point of view. You will paddle on the other side of the coast between rocks and inlets covered with rich vegetation, in a wildly beautiful route.
The SUP tour will last two hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from the age of 12. Minors may also participate on their own, with a release form signed by their parent.
Swimming skills are required.

The tour runs all year round and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 3 participants.
The itinerary may vary depending on weather and sea conditions to ensure a safe conduct of the experience.
At the end of the activity, cold water showers can be used at the school premises.

The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund!
