Have you ever dreamed of plying the waters like a real sea dog (or rather lake dog) ? If the answer is yes, get ready because our skipper is about to hoist the sails just for you!
On board the Perla del Garda, a majestic 16-metre sailing ship , you will breathe in an atmosphere of yesteryear that will make you feel like the protagonist of an adventure novel on the shores of Italy's largest lake.
A half-day experience in which all you have to do is enjoy the navigation between dips and let yourself be spoiled by an aperitif served on board!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Riva del Garda (TN). Here we will meet our skipper, who will welcome us on board the sailing boat Perla del Garda, a splendid 16-metre vessel ready to give us a group sail.
After a short briefing to learn the secrets of sailing, we will set sail from the gardens of the Rocca heading towards the spectacular Cascate del Ponale waterfalls.
In this scenery, shrouded in thick vegetation, we will make our first swimming stop. Once back on board, we will hoist the sails again to take advantage of the southerly wind, heading towards Limone sul Garda. We will admire from the lake the famous lemon houses that characterise this enchanting village, enjoying the breeze and stability that only a sailing boat of this size can offer.
The navigation will continue towards the east coast, where the majestic Malcesine Castle will await us for another refreshing dip . During the relaxing moments between stops, we will be served an aperitif on board with a glass of prosecco and snacks (or alternatively soft drinks) to toast our adventure.
Buoyed by the north wind, we will then cross the waters off the beaches of Navene and Torbole, admiring the perfect contrast between the deep blue of Lake Garda and the intense green of the surrounding mountains. This will be the ideal time to relax on the large sun deck or in the refined interior saloon, enjoying every moment of this sail.
Finally, we will begin our return sailing admiring one last time the profile of the mountains reflected in the lake.
We will finally return to our starting point. The activity will last about 4 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for all without age limits; children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Children up to 1 year old participate free of charge.
The boat is accessible by wheelchair or persons with reduced mobility.
Other information
The activity takes place from April until October and is confirmed with a minimum number of 6 participants.
The itinerary and stops may vary according to weather conditions at the skipper's discretion; swimming may be prohibited if the water temperature is too low.
The boat used is an Irwin 54 sailing yacht, 16 metres long and equipped with cabins, a refined saloon, a large deck and a refrigerator. Clean shoes are required on board.
If you have any food allergies or intolerances, please inform the organisers in advance at the contact details given in the e-mail confirming your participation.
Dogs are not allowed on board.
On-site parking spaces are available for a fee, located approximately 10-15 minutes' walk away. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
