Track day: drive your car on the track at the Mugello Circuit

Your car has already been down many roads. Now take it to Mugello.

At the Mugello International Circuit, in Scarperia and San Piero (FI) , you can leave everyday driving behind and discover your car in a completely different setting: that of a real race track!

Awaiting you are 5, 245 metres of track and 15 bends – a technical and spectacular circuit where you’ll have 25 minutes on the track to put your driving skills to the test. You can tackle the session on your own, have an instructor ride alongside you to refine your technique, or take a passenger on board and share the adrenaline of the circuit with them.

What we will do

On the day of the experience, turn up at the Mugello International Circuit in Scarperia and San Piero (FI) with your own car. After checking in, you’ll take part in a briefing on track driving and safety rules.

Then comes the moment you’ve been waiting for: helmet on and engine running. When it’s your turn, you’ll leave the pits and take your car out onto the Mugello track.

Stretching out before you are 5, 245 metres of track and 15 bends, featuring undulating terrain, changes in gradient, fast corners and challenging braking points. You’ll have 25 minutes of uninterrupted driving to tackle the circuit and discover how your car handles in a setting completely different from everyday roads.

If you want to improve your driving technique, you can take part in the session with an instructor by your side; alternatively, you can take an adult passenger on board and share the experience with them. At the end of the session, you’ll return to the pits with a completely new perspective on your car.

Including the welcome, briefing and track session, the experience lasts approximately 1 hour in total.

Who it is aimed at

This activity is open to all holders of a Category B driving licence. Foreign Category B licences – whether European or international – are accepted, provided they are valid for driving in Italy.

Accompanying guests can access the circuit areas and the snack bar by purchasing the Paddock Pass for €20. To ride in the car during the session, however, you must purchase the Passenger Pass.

Important: to take part, your car must be registered and insured under a motor insurance policy that is also valid on private premises. Before booking, please check directly with your insurance company that your car insurance policy includes this cover. It is the participant’s responsibility to verify this.

When booking, you can select any additional services, including:

• On-board instructor (€100), who will sit next to you during your session and give you guidance on lines, corners and how to approach the track;
• Passenger pass (€30), allowing an adult companion to ride with you during all selected sessions;
• Paddock pass (€20), to allow a companion to access the circuit areas and the snack corner.

The passenger must wear a helmet and a seatbelt. If they do not have their own helmet, they can hire one at the track for €10.

It is possible to book multiple sessions on the same day. If there are several drivers and you wish to take turns at the wheel of the same car, each driver must meet the driving requirements and purchase the relevant Passenger Pass. However, it is not possible to swap drivers during the same session.
