The real reason why people go trekking in the mountains? Lunch at the malga on arrival!
We, too, are no different: that is why we have created this experience that starts in Sega di Ala and culminates at the table, with a tasting of typical dishes from Alta Lessinia.
Between a walk in the woods, a visit to the legendary "Busoni" and panoramic paths over the Adige Valley, you can satisfy your desire to explore and. .. your appetite! your appetite!
What we will do
The appointment is at 09: 00 at the malga in the locality of Sega di Ala (TN), in the splendid setting of the Lessinia Trentina. We will be welcomed by our guide , who will introduce us to the history of the surrounding area, marked by evidence of the Great War.
We will start our excursion on foot towards "i Busoni", a complex of historical tunnels carved into the rock. The route, lasting about 40 minutes, winds its way through green meadows and silent woods, allowing us to glimpse ancient trenches along the way. Once at the entrance to the tunnels, we put on the helmets provided to safely explore these military structures for about 30 minutes, listening to tales of wartime events from the front.
Once the visit is over, we will return to the malga around midday to reward our efforts with the flavours of the land. We will sit down at the table for a rich tasting of local dishes: the famous malga gnocchi, spinach Spatzle with fondue and crispy speck, game with polenta and a platter of typical local products, accompanied by water and wine included.
After recharging our batteries, we will set off on the last stage of the day towards the Passo della Morte. We will reach this spectacular natural balcony in about 10 minutes' walk, where we will be able to feast our eyes on a view of the valley below and admire the rock formations of the Denti della Sega.
We will finally return to the malga around 15: 30. The experience will last a total of around 6½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone, including children, as long as they are used to walking in the mountains.
The activity is not suitable for people with mobility problems due to the nature of the hiking trails and the mountain terrain.

The experience takes place from April to October on midweek days and is confirmed with a minimum number of 2 people.

Dogs are allowed both during the hike and inside the hut.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport, so the use of your own vehicle is recommended.

If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
