Would you like to immerse yourself completely in the magic of the Monferrato region and enjoy a unique trekking experience?
Join us for afull-day excursion accompanied by our faithful donkeys, in one of Italy's most evocative landscapes.
This excursion starts in Alfiano Natta, in the province of Alessandria, and winds its way for 14 km through the enchanting Monferrato trails.
Accompanying you will be Bruno, an expert donkey technician, and three special donkeys: Buddy, Phil and Dante. Get ready to experience a day that will remain in your heart!
What we will do
We will set off at 9 a.m. from Alfiano Natta, in the province of Alessandria. From here we will begin our trek in the company of a qualified someggiato technician and three friendly donkeys.
We will cross a fairytale landscape, typical of the Monferrato area, passing through lush vineyards and clear water springs. The 14 km loop route is not particularly demanding and is well suited to both adults and children.
The donkeys will carry our load, so that everyone is free to tackle the trek without a weight on their shoulders. Those who wish can also try to lead the donkey with a longhorn.
During the walk, we may decide to visit the Crea Sanctuary with its natural park or theCasorzo Tree, a unique natural phenomenon that is particularly impressive in spring. We may also head for Moncalvo, the 'smallest town in Italy'.
Lunch will be packed (to be brought from home) so you can have a picnic surrounded by nature. If you prefer, we can also organise a stop at one of the local establishments to taste typical local products.
The excursion will last about 6 hours and will end with the return to Alfiano Natta.
Who it is aimed at
The hike is suitable for people with good mobility, from 4 years of age. Written permission from the parent is required for minors.
Children aged 0 to 3 years participate free of charge. Toddlers may be carried by the parent in arms or with special support.
Other information
The activity is available every day from October to June, weather permitting.
A discounted rate is available for families with children (€150 per family of two adults and one child): contact us to book the family package.
It is not possible to participate with your own dog.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
