Full description
Discover the paths and beautiful landscapes surrounding Lake Lavoir with a fantastic day trekking tour.
Departing from Bardonecchia in the company of a hiking guide, you will walk along a 15 km route with a maximum altitude difference of 500 metres. You will admire fairy-tale scenery and have fun with friends and new adventure companions for an unforgettable day.
The trekking tour will take you between Italy and France and will also allow you to relax and enjoy the breathtaking alpine views of the Stretta Valley.
What we will do
We will meet at 9 a.m. in Bardonecchia, in the province of Turin. After introductions and a briefing on the route, we will begin the hike. We will be 1800 metres above sea level and will cover about 15 km, with a maximum ascent of 500 metres.
We will be greeted by large green pastures at the Piano della Fonderia, and we will begin the ascent proper, which, without difficulty, will take us to the foot of the Monte Tabor group, crossing into France.
We will arrive at our destination after about two and a half hours of walking. Gentle paths and endless meadows will welcome us and we will be able to rest for an hour or so and enjoy the breathtaking panorama of the Valle Stretta.
In this beautiful setting, we will be able to eat a packed lunch (not included and to be brought from home). Afterwards, we will return to Bardonecchia, which will take about an hour and a half.
For the more energetic, it will be possible to extend the walk and visit the other two lakes before the return journey. The planned duration of the hike is about 6 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from 11 years old upwards, as long as they are used to walking.

The activity is available from May to November, weather permitting, and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
Dogs may participate in the activity, but are required to bring a leash with them.
