Get away from the chaos and city traffic to discover the colours and flavours of theauthentic Tuscan countryside. Treat yourself to an excursion in the Mugello valley, combining nature, relaxation, trekking, excellent food and good wine.
In the company of a local guide, you will discover a little corner of paradise a few kilometres from Florence, immerse yourself for a few hours in a dimension of total tranquillity and rediscover the pleasure of a walk in nature and the taste of excellent food and wine products, typical of this territory.
You will walk along quiet country roads, through vineyards, olive groves and medieval villages. You will discover a land rich in history and culture, inhabited in the past by the Romans and Etruscans, and today dedicated to wine production.
Perfect for lovers of wine, nature and tranquillity, this experience is one of the many small and big surprises that the wonderful region of Tuscany can offer.
What we will do
We will meet in Vicchio, home of the great Italian art painter Giotto. From here we will set off on our excursion into the Mugello valley. After a walk through the picturesque streets of the centre, we will leave the village to immerse ourselves in a 6 km trek through the heart of the Tuscan countryside.
We will calmly explore this area rich in vineyards and olive groves, stopping often to admire the landscape and capture the beautiful views. Before returning, we will visit a farm in Vicchio. We will meet the producers, learn about their winemaking methods, visit the vineyards and cellars, and have time to relax and enjoy a wine tasting, accompanied by local cured meats and cheeses.
The excursion lasts about 3 hours, is suitable for all those who like to walk in tranquillity, takes place on asphalt roads, white roads, easy paths, and has no dangerous passages.

During the visit to the farm, it is possible to buy wine directly from the producer.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
