Full description
Set off on a trekking tour in the heart of the Brenta Dolomites and admire breathtaking views of Trentino's most impressive mountain range.
You will leave from Molveno together with an expert guide and reach the Croz dell'Altissimo refuge and the Selvata refuge before returning to the starting point via the Val delle Seghe.
An experience of total immersion in nature awaits you, ideal for those who love outdoor activities and capturing mountain landscapes.
What we will do
We will meet the guides and the rest of the group at 8:30 am at the start of the Molveno (TN) cable car. After due introductions and an initial briefing, we will take the cable car at 9:00 a.m. to reach the starting point of the trekking route.
Then, from the locality of Pradèl we will take an easy and panoramic path along the wall of Croz dell'Altissimo, a mountain in the Brenta Dolomites that gives its name to the first refuge we will encounter, at 1,430 m altitude. If we wish, we can take a short break, but without relaxing too much, because there is still a stretch of walking ahead of us to reach the Selvata refuge, at 1,630 m altitude.
Here we will finally be able to relax on thewide plateau surrounded by fir trees and Dolomite peaks, admire and photograph the panorama and have lunch at the hut or a packed lunch on the meadow.
After eating, we will start to descend towards Molveno via the Val delle Seghe, one of the most characteristic glacial valleys in the Brenta group. For the return trip, there will be no cable car.
In total, we will cover 13 km with 500 metres of altitude difference for a total activity duration of approximately 6.5 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The hike is suitable for people who are moderately fit and used to walking in the mountains, even on exposed paths. The minimum age required is 10 years.
Other information
The activity takes place every Tuesday from June to September with a minimum of 3 participants, weather permitting.
Private groups of at least 3 persons may also request the activity on other days of the week, subject to availability of the guides.
