Seize the opportunity to admire a beautiful sunset from a mountaintop with a guided trekking tour in the Pania di Corfino Nature Reserve in Garfagnana.
Enter a lush beech forest and enter into symbiosis with the surrounding nature until you reach an incredible vantage point with a majestic view of theTuscan-Emilian Apennines and the Apuan Alps.
On the way back, however, it will be the starry sky that will accompany you, giving you other intense emotions!
What we will do
We will meet at 4.30 p.m. near the Rifugio Iseria, in Villa Collemandina (LU), where the route known as the Pania di Corfino Ring begins, inside the Nature Reserve of the same name.
After a brief introductory briefing, we will set out through the woods of centuries-old beech trees to reach the top of the mountain at an altitude of over 1,600 metres, which can be reached in just over two hours by covering a difference in altitude of about 400 metres.
The arrival at the summit will coincide with the sunset, which will appear before our eyes in all its warm shades, turning the sky into a real painting. From the viewpoint we will admire the high peaks of theTuscan-Emilian Apennines, the chain of the Apuan Alps and the entire Garfagnana area.
Then, when the sun has set behind the mountains, we will continue our walk with the aid of a headlamp and in the company of the first stars that will appear above us. Enveloped in the silence and peace of the mountains, we will return to the hut and, if we feel like it, we will be able to taste the local gastronomic specialities.
The activity will last about 5.5 hours in total.

This activity is at an easy level and is suitable for anyone who is used to walking in the mountains, from 8 years of age upwards.

This activity is available from May to September every Wednesday, and is confirmed when there are at least 4 participants.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
