Want to experience a day of nature and crystal-clear sea at one of Sardinia's most unspoilt beaches? With the trek to Cala Luna, an icon of the Gulf of Orosei, you can reach the beach on foot with a pleasant and enjoyable walk.
Let yourself be guided in an exciting experience that will allow you to discover all the beauty of the area. You can walk through the majestic Codula di Luna canyon and enjoy unique views of the sea and mountains. Dulcis in fundo, you can take a swim in the transparent waters of Cala Luna, world-famous for its beauty.
If you don't want to choose between sea and mountains, this is the excursion for you. We are waiting for you!
What we will do
We will meet with the guide at 8.30 a.m. in Orosei (NU). Our trek will begin in the Buchiarta area, with a visit to the ancient sheepfolds typical of the Supramonte.
We will then descend the Su Molente gorge, a beautiful path with centuries-old junipers, typical Mediterranean shrubs and various aromatic plants , the medicinal and herbal uses of which we will discover together. At some points, the narrow gorge shows its enchanting views of the sea and the Supramonte mountains.
Afterwards, we will reach the majestic canyon of Codula di Luna, continuing along the arid riverbed and finally arrive at Cala Luna. Here we cannot miss a swim in the transparent waters of the Gulf of Orosei.
After a packed lunch (not included and to be brought from home), we will retrace the canyon back to face the most challenging route of the day, the ascent to the starting point of the gorge, called "S'Iscala 'e S'Arga". The walk will be a total of 9 km, with a difference in altitude of 350 m.
For those who wish to spend more time on the beach, they can return by boat to the port of Cala Gonone (optional charge of 12€). The excursion will thus be less strenuous and you can also take a small tour in the waters of the Gulf of Orosei.
The experience will last a total of 8 hours, of which the actual walking time is about 4 hours.

Suitable for everyone over the age of 6.
Other information
The activity is bookable all year round on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and is confirmed with a minimum of 6 participants.
For those who wish to return by boat from the beach to the port of Cala Gonone there is an extra charge of 12€ per person.

If you have made a fixed-date booking and the weather conditions are not suitable for safely carrying out the activity (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be fully refunded. The guide may offer you an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to accept or decline these proposals. If you cannot reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
