Stop wandering aimlessly round the same old shopping centre. It’s time to lace up your trainers, escape the daily urban grind and recharge your batteries in the heart of nature – perhaps with a lovely glass of wine in hand to give you just the right boost!
Come and enjoy a wonderful day in the open air at Tenuta L’Impostino in Civitella Paganico: a revitalising walk through the vineyards awaits you, where you’ll discover the secrets of organic viticulture, followed by a fascinating tour of the winery and the barrel cellar.
A unique experience in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma, which will round off in style with a tasting of three organic wines accompanied by a delicious platter full of authentic local produce!
What we will do
The meeting point is at the selected time at Tenuta L'Impostino in Civitella Paganico (GR), set in the Upper Maremma, a region dominated by the ancient, dormant volcano of Mount Amiata, which lends these soils their unique fertility.
We will be welcomed by our guide, who will introduce us to the history of this ancient place of rest and refreshment before setting off on our nature adventure.
We’ll begin with a walk through the vineyard along a 4-kilometre guided route. We’ll stroll in complete tranquillity, immersing ourselves in nature and the colours and scents of the Maremma, skirting small lakes surrounded by broom, stopping in the shade of the cork oaks for a break and learning more about the grape varieties through informative and explanatory signs .
Afterwards, we’ll head indoors for a guided tour of the winery, a modern 2, 000-square-metre facility overlooking the hill and the vine-covered slopes. The guide will explain all the stages of the winemaking process, showing us how our organic wines are created through a perfect balance of traditional and innovative techniques.
We’ll continue the tour by descending into the enchanting underground barrel cellar, where the magical atmosphere and skilful use of different types of wood allow each variety to express its structural characteristics and aromas to the full before bottling.
Finally, we’ll be welcomed onto the farmhouse’s wonderful terrace or into the dining room, where we’ll begin the tasting itself . We’ll sample three organic wines from the current vintages, expertly paired with a platter of local specialities from the Maremma region.
The experience will last approximately 3 hours in total .
Who it is aimed at
This experience is recommended for those aged 18 and over. The wine tasting is reserved for adults only. Any accompanying minors may take part in the experience at a cost of €15, payable on site, with a soft drink included.
This experience is not suitable for people with mobility issues or wheelchair users.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
