Full description
The heroes of this story are called Rolly and Bella.
They are the stars of our truffle hunt in Barberino Tavarnelle: accompanied by a truffle hunter and his friendly dogs, we’ll venture into a truffle ground in search of this prized ingredient. And once we’ve found it, it’ll form the basis of our truffle-flavoured lunch.
A 4-hour experience with a delicious happy ending!
What we will do
Please arrive 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Barberino Tavarnelle (FI). Once there, we’ll meet the guide who’ll be taking us on this adventure!
Once all participants have gathered, the experience will begin with a theoretical introduction to the world of truffles: what a truffle ground is, the different types of truffle, how the dogs are trained, and other interesting facts. We’ll then refuel in preparation for the practical part of the experience with biscuits, tartlets and other homemade treats.
And now we’re ready to walk to the estate’s own truffle ground, accompanied by the truffle hunter and the truffle-hunting dogs, Rolly and Bella. During the truffle hunt, we’ll follow them and watch as they set about finding this prized ingredient. Once they’ve sniffed it out, we’ll watch as the truffle is unearthed!
Finally, we’ll return to the meeting point for a truffle-themed lunch: this consists of a platter of cold cuts, cheeses and other Chianti specialities, followed by a plate of pasta dressed with truffles; water, house wine and coffee are included.
The experience lasts approximately 4 hours in total.

This experience is suitable for everyone, with no age restrictions. Those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult participant.

The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed once a minimum of two participants have signed up.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
