There are those who search for it out of passion and those out of pure instinct. And then there are Yuma and Zara, two infallible truffle dogs who don't miss a beat!
Join an expert truffle hunter on a real truffle hunt through the Monferrato woods, to discover one of Piedmont's most precious treasures: the white truffle.
A 2-hour experience, crowned by a gourmet tasting at the end of the hunt!
What we will do
The appointment is at the meeting point in Lerma (AL), 10 minutes before the indicated time.
Here we will meet Alessia and her husband Andrea, the truffle hunter himself! It will be the two pointer pointers Zama and Yuma who will guide us in this white truffle hunting experience. We will be welcomed into the old farmhouse, which has been owned by the family for several generations, and here we will receive the necessary equipment to carry out the activity, such as boots, sticks and educational material.
Then, guided by the infallible nose of the two truffle dogs, we will walk to the truffle ground in about 10 minutes. Here the actual search will begin, during which the truffle hunter will explain how the truffle is born and the characteristics of the environment and vegetation that favour its growth.
The moment of searching and gathering will be truly magical and will make us feel like real treasure hunters, ready to uncover the riches buried under the ground! If we are lucky, we will be able to find white truffles typical of these areas of Monferrato, which we will be able to buy at the end of the activity.
But the adventure does not end here! Once back at the farmstead, in fact, we can sit down for a gourmet tasting: a dish of your choice with 5 g of grated white truffle, a glass of wine, a dessert, water, bread and a cover charge. In short, a moment of pure taste that celebrates the star of the day!
The experience will last about 2 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult participant.
Younger children may be carried by their parents in cribs or backpacks.
The truffle trail is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs.

The activity runs from 15 September to 8 December, every day, and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
In the event of food allergies and intolerances, please inform the guide in advance at the contacts indicated in the booking confirmation email.
For those who wish, it will be possible to purchase the truffle found during the search on site.
Dogs are allowed, provided they are kept on a leash: inform the guide of their presence before the activity.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport; free parking is available.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
