A truffle-themed lunch… but not your usual restaurant meal!
Join our truffle hunting experience in Montù Beccaria: you’ll set off in search of the prized tuber and then savour your fragrant haul during a truffle-themed lunch with wine pairings.
A 4-hour experience, from the woods to your plate!
What we will do
We’ll meet at the selected time at the meeting point in Montù Beccaria (PV). Once there , we’ll meet the guide, the truffle hunter and the truffle-hunting dog who’ll be accompanying us on this adventure!
Once all participants have gathered, we’ll set off straight away on our truffle-hunting experience: we’ll venture on foot into the countryside around the vineyard, following the noses of the Lagotto dogs, Gina and Pedro. And once we’ve found the prized tuber, we’ll watch the truffle hunter extract it from the ground. Meanwhile, the truffle hunter will share information and interesting facts about the world of truffles. This first part lasts approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
We’ll then return to the winery, where the truffle hunter will explain how to clean the truffle, how it should be stored and how it can be used in cooking. This will be followed by lunch with a wine tasting: we’ll enjoy a truffle-based first course and a dessert, accompanied by seven of the estate’s wines, water and coffee.
And for those wishing to enhance the experience further, there will be an opportunity to visit the cellar with the estate’s oenologist.
The experience lasts approximately 4 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
This experience is suitable for everyone, with no age restrictions. Children aged 0 to 17 pay the reduced ‘Accompanying Person’ rate only if they have lunch; if they do not eat, they can take part free of charge.
The wine tasting is reserved for participants of legal drinking age only. Any accompanying minors will be served water or another non-alcoholic drink.
The experience is not accessible to wheelchair users or pushchairs.

The experience runs all year round except in January, February and August, and is confirmed once the minimum number of 5 participants has been reached.

Dogs are not permitted.
Free on-site parking is available. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport. What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
