Are you ready to discover the black gold of the Umbrian land? In Città di Castello (PG), you can enjoy a complete sensorial experience dedicated to the truffle, a symbol of excellence of this territory.
An itinerary that combines culture and taste, where you can visit the company's private collection dedicated to the precious mushroom and taste a variety of dishes based on fresh and processed truffles, accompanied by an excellent glass of local wine.
What we will do
The meeting point is at the selected time in Città di Castello (PG), in the setting of the Upper Tiber Valley, an enchanting area located between Umbria and Tuscany. We will be welcomed by a guide who will introduce us to the history of this artisan company and the tradition of truffle hunting.
We will begin the experience with a tour of the company lasting about 30 minutes: we will visit the laboratory to observe the processing of the product up close. Next, we will explore the exclusive truffle museum, a private collection of over 400 pieces that includes a fascinating vintage corner and historical artefacts that tell the evolution of this world. Here we will learn to distinguish all the types of truffles available in the area according to seasonality.
At the end of the tour, we will move to the tasting room where, comfortably seated, we will start a real aperitif with truffles. The menu includes a rich succession of truffle specialities: bruschetta with truffle sauces, scrambled eggs with truffles, polentine with gravy, mashed potatoes and other cold delicacies such as tomato salad with truffle salt and truffle salt popcorn. Everything will be accompanied by a glass of wine per person to enhance the flavours of the forest.
The experience will last about 1½ hours in total .

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
