You never forget your first breath underwater! It is a mix of "What am I doing? " and "Why didn't I do this before? ".
Experience your sea baptism in San Teodoro: together with a certified instructor you will experience the thrill of your first scuba dive in the Tavolara Protected Marine Area.
Get ready to discover the wonders at the bottom of the sea!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in San Teodoro (SS) . Waiting for us will be the instructor who will accompany us on our diving excursion!
We will start with a theoretical briefing of about half an hour to learn how to handle the equipment and communicate with conventional signs. Once we are ready, we will board an inflatable boat to head to the best diving spots in the Tavolara area.
Ours will be an official SSI (Try Scuba) introductory dive, which can be accredited as a first step towards the Open Water Diver course if we decide to continue the course within 12 months.
On reaching the chosen spot, we will don our equipment and, together with the instructor, enter the water for the actual dive. We will stay submerged for about 45 minutes, descending to a depth of between 8 and 12 metres depending on our confidence.
Below the surface we will observe the bustle of groupers, moray e els and shoals of snappers. It will be a new way of perceiving space and gravity, constantly assisted by our instructor who will ensure our comfort at all times.
At the end, we will return to the base to return the equipment and exchange first impressions. The experience will last 2½ hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 10 and up; minors must be accompanied by an adult or have a signed release form.
A doctor's certificate is required in the event of pulmonary problems, heart problems, epilepsy and diabetes. The experience is forbidden for pregnant women.
The activity is suitable for first-time divers and no licence is required to participate.
Other information
The experience runs from June to September and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
There is a changing room, showers with cold water and toilets on site. Any personal belongings can be stored in a common storage room at the diving centre.
It is not recommended to dive 24 hours before a flight.
Subject to availability, a maximum of 2 accompanying persons per group are allowed on the raft free of charge: please contact the organisers at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to check the possibility.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
