2-hour horse riding in the Prosecco hills

Enjoy 2 hours of horseback riding immersed in nature and in contact with our beautiful and sweet horses through splendid landscapes declared a Unesco heritage site: the Prosecco hills.

The route will let you discover the villages of Arfanta and Rolle, as well as spectacular hilly landscapes characterised by vineyards, wooded paths and waterways.

Have you never ridden a horse? No problem: equestrian guides will teach you how to mount and handle the animal before this exciting riding adventure. We are waiting for you!

What we will do

I, your equestrian guide, will be waiting for you at the time selected during the booking process at the riding school in Cison di Valmarino, in the province of Treviso, where I will hand over the equipment and explain how to approach the horse and manage it in the best possible way, if you have never done so before. After the briefing, the walk will begin.

In a circular route through the Prosecco Hills, we will immerse ourselves in nature and admire spectacular landscapes of scenic vineyards and woods. We will pass through the municipality of Arfanta, the highest hamlet in the municipality of Tarzo, which is set in a hilly area dominated by Mount Croce and the Parè hill.

We will also see the village of Rolle, a small hamlet of Cison di Valdamirino, which in 2004 became the first Italian village to be protected by the FAI, an enchanting place characterised by the presence of terraced vineyards along the steep slopes, defined by the poet Zanzotto as a "postcard sent by the gods".

We will proceed to the pass and, if conditions permit, skirt and cross a river for a distance of about three metres. We will then climb up the other side, on the opposite bank, and return to our starting point. I will accompany you on horseback during the walk to ensure your safety.

The duration of the activity is two hours.

Who it is aimed at

The activity is open to everyone, including beginners.

The minimum age to participate is 14 years, while the weight limit is 110 kg.

Other information

The experience takes place throughout the year.

The riding is American. English riding is available on request: contact the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to request it.

Dogs on a leash are allowed in the riding hall; during the ride they can stay in a dedicated box.

Free parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
