Have you ever thought of flying over the skies of Rome for a unique feeling of freedom?
Aboard an ultra-performance two-seater ultralight, pick up speed and soar through the skies for 30 minutes following the course of the Tiber river. Enjoy the distant panorama of the Alban Hills, volcanic lakes and the countryside on the outskirts of the eternal city.
Take the controls and enjoy the thrill of piloting the ultra-light aircraft yourself, alongside a professional pilot. Get ready for take-off!
What we will do
We will meet at the time selected during the booking process at the Fiano Romano airfield, just outside the capital. After meeting the pilot who will accompany us on this adventure in the sky, we will have a pre-flight briefing with him.
We will learn the characteristics of the two-seater ultralight with dual controls and the necessary safety and behavioural rules.
Ready for take-off, we will hover guided by the pilot for about 30 minutes of actual flight along the Tiber river. We will admire the Roman countryside and, in the distance, fascinating volcanic cones rising up from the surrounding landscape, hosting lush vegetation and lakes.
During the flight we will also have the chance to take the controls under the pilot's supervision, experiencing the thrill of piloting the ultralight ourselves.
Finally, it will be time to land at the starting field and conduct the debriefing, in which we will be able to share the sensations experienced during the flight. At the end of our adventure, which will last about 45 minutes in total , we will receive a 'Baptism of Flight' certificate to take home.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is open to everyone from the age of 12. Minors requirewritten authorisation from both parents.
The maximum weight for participants is 120 kg.
Other information
The activity takes place throughout the year, and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 5 participants.
Important: this activity is strictly weather-related. Two days before the scheduled activity, the pilot will contact you via Whatsapp or e-mail to confirm the activity.
The meeting place cannot be reached by public transport.
Photos and videos cannot be taken during the flight.
