Full description
Take the Via Ferrata di Cima Capi and enjoy the wonderful landscape of Lake Garda.
You will go through tunnels carved into the rock, walk for about 5 hours along the equipped route, and admire the remains of the Second World War; but above all, you will experience the emotion of an extraordinary ferrata in terms of landscape, with vertical walls that will make you feel suspended between the sky and the waters of the lake.
Certified Alpine guides will accompany you along the entire route to ensure your safety.
What we will do
We will meet in Biacesa di Ledro (TN), 10 minutes before the time selected during the booking process. Here we will be met by an Alpine Guide, who will accompany us for the entire duration of the experience. At the meeting, he will also provide us with thenecessary equipment to walk the ferrata in safety.
We will reach Cima Capi via the walkways, fortifications and tunnels built during the First World War. We will thus be able to dive into the past and the history of these places by entering the tunnels dug into the rock, equipped with a torch.
We will walk for about five hours along a route with an altitude difference of 500 metres, which seems to be suspended between sky and lake. The route has some walls whose verticality will require a certain physical effort, repaid by the marvellous landscape of Lake Garda.
Once at the top, the surprises will not end because we will have the opportunity to admire a beautiful 360 degree view of the Sarca Valley. After a short stop to observe the beautiful panorama, we will descend to reach another short equipped stretch, called Sentiero Foletti.
The path will lead us to the welcoming Bivacco Arcioni bivouac, from which we will finally return to Biacesa. The hike takes about 6 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is of medium level and aimed at those in good health and able to cope with a walk of about 6 hours. It is necessary not to suffer from vertigo.
The minimum age for participation is 10 years.
