Add a pinch of adrenaline to your holiday in Sardinia!
Come and discover a via ferrata route on the imposing Giorrè walls, up to 70 metres high, and move along natural ledges, rocky steps and breathtaking vertical sections, accompanied by an expert guide.
Prepare your spirit of adventure, because it will be 2 hours of pure excitement!
What we will do
We will meet at 9.15 a.m. in Cargeghe (SS). Here we will meet our guide and drive about 10 minutes to the car park at the start of the trail.
We will then receive the necessaryequipment to tackle the via ferrata (helmet, harness, via ferrata lanyard and gloves) and begin the approach with a 20-minute walk through a rocky and wooded landscape, immersed in the unspoilt nature of Sardinia.
Upon reaching theferrata's attack, the guide will give a short briefing on safety and progression techniques, then we will begin our walk. The Via Ferrata di Giorrè is characterised by walls up to 70 metres high: it develops on natural rocky ledges and steps, with a mainly horizontal course and some vertical sections.
The most beautiful and technical sections are to be found at the start, but the entire route, which is about 2.5 km long, can be adapted according to the level and energy of the group, choosing to climb only the most fascinating parts. The north-facing wall guarantees optimal conditions even in summer, allowing us to enjoy the activity in the shade.
After about 1.5 hours of progression on the rock face, we will conclude our adventure with a short 15-minute return to the starting point.
The activity will last a total of 2 hours, including transfers and briefing.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for ages 12 and up. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
To participate, a weight of no less than 40 kg, no fear of heights and a minimum of physical fitness are required, while previous climbing experience is not necessary.
Other information
The activity can be booked all year round, Monday to Saturday, and is confirmed with a minimum number of 4 participants.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport; there is free parking on site.
