Do you know the Queen of Sardinia? Unlike other monarchs, this one does not need a throne!
We are talking about the Via Ferrata della Regina in Monteleone Rocca Doria, one of the most popular routes in the region. Experience a 2-hour adventure with an experienced guide among rocky ledges and Tibetan bridges.
The view of Lake Temo from above will repay you for every effort: simply regal!
What we will do
We will meet at 9:15 a.m. in Monteleone Rocca Doria (SS). Here we will meet our guide, who will provide us with all theequipment we need to tackle the via ferrata: helmet, harness, ferrata lanyard and gloves.
We will then set off on an easy , level path of approximately 15 minutes that will lead us to theattack of the ferrata. During the approach, we will already be able to admire Lake Temo, an artificial dam which will form the backdrop to our adventure. At the start of the via ferrata, the guide will give a short briefing on safety and progression techniques.
The Via Ferrata della Regina will immediately put us to the test with a small challenge: a vertical and overhanging section of about 25 metres. But fear not: with the support of the guide, we will tackle each passage with confidence and determination.
A magnificent view of the lake and the surrounding forest landscape will open up below us. The Regina wall faces north, so even in the height of summer we will be able to enjoy the activity in the shade.
Once we have overcome the first verticality, the route will continue between natural ledges and exposed sections, always protected by steel cables and metal steps. We will then arrive at the most exciting point of the ferrata, a suspended Tibetan bridge that will make us feel like real explorers.
After about an hour and a half of progression, we will complete our round trip and return to our starting point in about 15 minutes on foot.
The activity will last a total of 2 hours, including transfers and briefing.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for ages 12 and up. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
To participate, a weight of no less than 40 kg, no fear of heights and a minimum of physical fitness are required, while previous climbing experience is not necessary.

The activity can be booked all year round, Monday to Saturday, and is confirmed with a minimum number of 4 participants.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport; there is free parking on site.
