Full description

This could be your first via ferrata.

And indeed, the 'Rose D'Inverno' alpinisco route, in the beautiful karstic setting of Val Rosandra, is ideal for a first rock climbing adventure: in the company of an alpine guide, you will face vertical walls and overcome obstacles in what was once the 'gym' of the great mountaineer Emilio Comici.

A 3-hour experience, at the end of which you will look forward to finding a new wall to climb!

What we will do

The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in the Karst village of San Lorenzo (TS). We will be welcomed by the mountain guide who will accompany us along the 'Rose D'Inverno' via ferrata!

Once all participants have gathered, we will receive ourequipment and a briefing will take place, during which we will be given the first notions and all useful information for the experience. We will then set off along a path that will take us to the starting point of the via ferrata in 15 minutes, in the Val Rosandra Nature Reserve.

It is then that the real adventure begins: we will embark on a mountaineering route with various 'obstacles', from vertical sections to climb to chimneys to climb over. Any more challenging sections can be circumvented, as this is a non-technical via ferrata ideal for a first experience. As we climb, the panoramic view will stretch as far as the Adriatic Sea!

After crossing the finish line, we will set off on a rocky path which will lead us to the meeting point in 15 minutes. The via ferrata will last 2 ½ hours; the total experience will last 3 hours.

Who it is aimed at

The experience is suitable for ages 12 and up; minors need not be accompanied by an adult.

Via ferrata is an activity that is generally not recommended for those who suffer from vertigo; this one in particular presents a route suitable for those who would like to try the experience despite their discomfort.

The route is of an easy level and suitable for a first via ferrata.
