Full description
Sometimes it doesn't matter what you do, but how (and where) you do it. And vintage touring on Lake Como, well, that has a whole other flavour.
Following the itinerary of a car opener, you will drive for 3 hours in a luxurious vintage car through scenic roads, enchanting views and villas of yesteryear.
The tour is guided, fuel is included and stops are free: you can stop at any time to stroll through the alleys of some picturesque village or relax on the shores of the lake!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the meeting point in Abbadia Lariana (LC) (alternatively, you can request a pick-up service), where the organiser will welcome you for the handover of the roaring classic car you chose during the booking process.
After a brief initial briefing, you will be ready to climb into the car and start the engine! You will leave the venue following in the wake of a modern car opener that will dictate the day's itinerary, so that you won't have to think about anything else but enjoying aunique driving experience!
The route will wind along the eastern shore of Lake Como until you reach Colico, giving you views of verdant mountains and blue-painted views. On the way, you can ask for a stop at any time and thus take the opportunity to visit the villages overlooking the lake, gardens and period villas, or taste some typical dishes.
You will finally return to the starting point. The tour will last about 3 hours in total , depending on the duration of the stops you make.
Who it is aimed at
The driver must be at least 25 years old and have held a B licence for at least five years. There is no age limit for passengers , but please note that the cars are not equipped with child seats or seat belts.
Driver and passenger can swap driving during the tour as long as both meet the requirements.

The tour is available from March to November.

- Fiat 500 R - 1973
- Fiat 1500 cabriolet - 1966
- Alfa Romeo 1300 Junior Spider (truncated tail) - 1974
- Mercedes -Benz 280 SL - 1980
- MG TD - 1951 (recommended for those who already have driving experience with classic cars)
The price is per car; all cars are 2-seater except the 4-seater Beetle Cabrio 1303 (for this car it is possible to request a chauffeur service instead of a lead car).
On site it is possible to addkasko insurance at an extra cost of €50.00 per day with a damage excess of €500.00.

Free parking is available on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed-date booking and the weather conditions are not suitable for safely carrying out the activity (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be fully refunded. The guide may offer you an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to accept or decline these proposals. If you cannot reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
