Full description
Water, malt, hops and yeast. The craft beer of the EXMU Brewery in Sassari does not contain any secret ingredients, except for the love of their land!
In this microbrewery with distillery, you can visit the production facilities, walk among the fields of barley and ancient cereal varieties, and taste four artisanal beers accompanied by typical Sardinian cheeses, cold cuts and sweets in the tasting room!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the EXMU Agricultural Brewery in Sassari (SS), in the setting of the Sardinian countryside. We will be welcomed by our guide, ready to lead us on a discovery of this unique agricultural microbrewery.
We will begin with a historical presentation of the company, where we will be told how decades of conscious cultivation and the recovery of ancient cereal varieties typical of the area have built EXMU's identity. We will discover first-hand the raw materials used, understanding how every element that goes into the brewery comes directly from the surrounding fields.
We will continue with a guided tour of the production plant, where we will be shown all the stages of the artisanal production process. The brewery also houses a distillery, in which beer distillates and gin are also produced. Depending on the season, we will have the opportunity to visit the barley field directly or to observe it from a vantage point.
We will then move on to the brewery's tasting room, a cosy environment where a guided tasting of four craft beers will take place, chosen according to seasonal availability and our preferences. All the beers are bottle-fermented and unpasteurised and will be accompanied by a rich assortment of local products, including cheeses, cold cuts and typical Sardinian sweets, selected to enhance each sip.
The experience will last about two hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Beer tasting is reserved for participants over 18 years of age.
Minors participate free of charge and will receive soft drinks as an alternative to beers.
The facility is fully accessible for people with mobility problems, including buggies and wheelchairs.

Options are available for people with food allergies and/or intolerances: please contact the brewery at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to communicate any dietary requirements or catering requests. Gluten-free beers are not available.
Dogs are allowed during the experience.
There is free parking on site for all guests. The brewery is not accessible by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
