During this visit to the EXMU Brewery in Sassari, you will discover how their artisanal beers are skilfully transformed into quality spirits that smell of the land.
A 2-hour experience, in which you will have 4 tastings of 100% Sardinian whisky and gin, accompanied by delicious local products!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the EXMU Agricultural Brewery in Sassari (SS), in the setting of the Sardinian countryside. We will be welcomed by our guide, ready to lead us on a discovery of this unique craft distillery .
We will start with a historical presentation of the company, where we will be told how decades of cultivation of ancient cereal varieties typical of the area have built EXMU's identity, up to the opening of the distillery in 2019. We will learn first-hand about the raw materials used, from barley to juniper, and how they are transformed into quality distillates.
We will continue with a guided tour through the distillery, where we will be shown all the stages of the artisanal production process. We will be able to directly observe the traditional copper still, discovering how the distillation process takes place to create 100% certified Sardinian whisky. We will also be shown the local botanicals that are selected and used to create quality gin.
We will then move to the tasting room, where there will be a guided tasting of four craft spirits, in the sepcific whisky and gin. The tasting will be accompanied by an assortment of local products, including cheeses, cold cuts and typical Sardinian sweets, selected to enhance each sip.
The experience will last a total of about 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Distillate tasting is reserved for participants over 18 years of age.
Minors participate free of charge and will receive soft drinks as an alternative to spirits.
The facility is fully accessible for people with mobility problems, including prams and wheelchairs.

Dogs are allowed during the experience.
There is free parking on site for all guests. The brewery is not accessible by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
