The quintessential good oil? The Apulian one!
At the Masseria Il Capitolo in Fasano (BR), you will not only be able to taste it during a tasting, but you will also be able to discover where and how it is produced during a guided tour.
An experience to discover the most authentic Apulian flavours that will end with a rich buffet!
What we will do
The appointment with the guide is at the selected time at the Masseria Il Capitolo in Fasano (BR), overlooking the hills of the Itria Valley.
Once all participants have gathered, we will listen to a brief introduction on the history of the masseria and the area, crossed by the Via Francigena.
Afterwards, we will go inside the masseria to visit its rooms and the production plant. We will thus discover all the secrets of how to make a 'good oil' for real!
At the end of the tour, it will be time to awaken our senses and take part in an oil tasting. We will taste 3 types of extra virgin olive oil while the guide describes the characteristics of each, with brief hints on the methodology for assessing the quality of an oil.
To conclude, we will be served a rich buffet of typical Apulian products such as focaccia, friselle, olives, cheeses and cold cuts to be enjoyed with a glass of wine.
The experience will last about 2 hours in total.

The experience is suitable for everyone with no age limit. Children up to 5 years of age participate free of charge.

If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
