A sip of history in Bassano del Grappa!
At Grapperia Nardini, you will have the unique opportunity to cross the threshold of the oldest distillery in Italy, located right at the entrance to the famous Ponte Vecchio in Bassano del Grappa.
It will be a journey through time that will lead you to discover the origins of the Italian distilling tradition, culminating with a premium tasting of the Selezione Bortolo Nardini line, accompanied by excellent local dairy products.
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at Grapperia Nardini in Bassano del Grappa (VI), in the historic setting of Ponte Vecchio. We will be welcomed by a guide who will introduce us to the centuries-old history of the Nardini family, guardian of the distillery tradition since 1779.
We will begin our immersion by visiting the workshop and the historic premises of the Grapperia, listed among the Locali Storici d'Italia. We will explore the area of the ancient stills, the old cellar that holds vintage bottles, and the charming tavern, discovering the evolution of three centuries of the art of grappa between innovations and challenges.
Afterwards, we will move to a private room, an exclusive place with a breathtaking view of the Brenta river. Here the guided tasting will take place, during which we will explore the characteristics and aromatic notes of 4 grappas from the Bortolo Nardini Riserva line: Grappa Extrafina, Grappa Riserva 5 Anni, Grappa Riserva 7 Anni and Grappa Riserva 15 Anni.
Each tasting will be enhanced by pairing it with 4 types of local cheese. The guide will explain the reasons behind each pairing, revealing the secrets to fully appreciate the complexity of this super premium line.
The experience will last about 1½ hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is recommended for persons aged 18 and over. Any accompanying minors may enter free of charge and water will be provided for them during the tasting.
The facility is not accessible to persons with mobility problems or in wheelchairs. Two flights of stairs are required to access the premises on the guided tour.

Attention! It is important to note that, as this is a lively and busy place, other customers may be present inside the Grapperia during the tour.
Dogs are not allowed inside the premises of the tour and during the tasting.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
