If you have always dreamt of a house in the Cinque Terre, know that some bees have just beaten you to it.
Here in Riomaggiore, amidst olive groves and beehives overlooking the sea (literally) , our guide will take you on a discovery of the most mouth-watering Liguria through a tasting of PDO olive oil, honeys produced on the farm, and Ligurian specialities served with DOC and IGT wines!
What we will do
The meeting point is 15 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Riomaggiore (SP), in the iconic terraces of the Cinque Terre. From the meeting point it will be possible to reach the farm via a comfortable ten-minute walk .
To welcome us among the olive trees we will find the guide. Walking through the olive grove, we will listen to an illustration of the phases of cultivation andprocessing of the olives, discovering curiosities and characteristics of the DOP Riviera Ligure.
We will continue with an explanation of beekeeping: we will learn how the heather, acacia and chestnut honeys produced by the farm are obtained.
Then it will be time for a guided tasting: we will taste the honey and the PDO oil through a practical demonstration of the tasting technique. This will be followed by a tasting of the farm's products, such as DOC and IGT wines, pickled olives and other local specialities.
The experience will last a total of about 3 hours.

The experience is not accessible to persons with reduced mobility, as the route to the facility involves a footpath.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
