Once upon a time there was a knight who managed to conquer as much land as he could ride in a single night.
We do not promise you a kingdom but an adventure between nature and history! Join our horseback ride in Sezzadio: in the company of a riding instructor, you will ride through silent forests and ancient Roman roads.
Your journey may not redraw borders, but it will give you the pleasure of exploring the surroundings of Alessandria and Monferrato in a unique and fascinating way: on horseback!
What we will do
We will meet at the Sezzadio (AL) stables, where beautiful horses - Quarter Horses, Andalusians, Argentines and Appaloosa - will be saddled and ready to go.
After a 30-minute lesson on riding, we will learn how to communicate with the horse and move in harmony with it. Then our adventure will begin.
We will embark on a 4-kilometre route along dirt tracks in the middle of nature, through lush forests and ancient Roman roads. During the walk, the guide will accompany us on horseback, telling us interesting facts about the history of these places, from Roman knights to the fascinating legend of the Marquis of Monferrato. And only for experienced riders, we will venture to the foot of theAbbey of Santa Giustina, a Lombard jewel shrouded in mystery.
Finally, we will return to the starting point after a walk of about 1 hour. The experience lasts a total of about 1.5 hours between lecture and hike.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable from the age of 18.
A maximum weight of 90 kg is required to participate.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable as a first horse ride.

There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
