Yes, the tender alpacas have also landed in Puglia!
Come and get to know them on our alpaca walk in Gravina in Puglia: you will walk in a splendid natural setting, among fields of wheat and olive groves, in the company of a very soft companion.
A 1-hour experience, which you can choose to enrich with an aperitif or apericena based on typical products!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Gravina in Puglia (BA). We will be welcomed by the guide who will accompany us on this (very soft) adventure!
Having gathered all the participants and after an initial welcome, anintroduction to the world of alpacas will take place. The guide will introduce us to Tony, Alma, Oliver and the other soft friends, explaining how to interact with them.
And here we are ready for our alpaca walk: each participant will lead an alpaca on a halter, venturing along a 2 km route that winds through wheat fields and olive plantations. We will also stop in a characteristic olive grove to take a souvenir photo together with our alpaca!
We will finally return to the meeting point. When booking, it will be possible to enrich the experience by selecting the options"trekking + aperitif" or "trekking + rich aperitif": both consist of a picnic basket containing 0 km products, to be enjoyed in the beautiful setting of the olive grove. The aperitif includes olives, taralli, chips, almonds, a board of cold meats and cheeses, walnuts, honey, Apulian focaccia and a bottle of local wine; the apericena adds parmigiana, bread, dry sweets and bitter to the previous list.
The experience will last a total of 1 hour.
Who it is aimed at
Attention! Adults aged 18 and over can only make a reservation as a participant.
The experience is suitable from 8 years of age.
Children from 8 to 13 years of age may only participate as a companion of an adult participant; they will therefore not be able to lead the alpaca.
Children aged 14 to 17 can choose to be either a participant or an accompanying adult participant; they can therefore choose to lead the alpaca.
The route is not accessible to persons with mobility problems.

Attention! Adults aged 18 and over can only make a reservation as a participant.
The experience takes place all year round at weekends and is confirmed once a minimum number of 4 participants has been reached. The experience is also available on request from Monday to Friday for groups of 6 or more participants: please contact us to submit a booking request.
The experience is limited to a maximum of 8 participants and 8 accompanying persons. A maximum of 1 accompanying person aged between 8 and 17 is allowed per participant.
Dogs are not allowed to participate.
Options are available for people with food allergies and/or intolerances: please contact the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to communicate any dietary requirements.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
