Do you know the difference between an alpaca and a llama?
You will discover this and many other curiosities by taking part in our alpaca and llama walk in the province of Asti: in the company of a guide, you will venture into the splendid setting of the Langa Astigiana, walking through scenic vineyards.
A 2-hour experience of nature, animals (and lots of pampering)!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Vesime (AT). Awaiting us will be the guide who will accompany us on this adventure!
Having gathered all the participants, we will meet the stars of the farm: the alpacas Martina, Missy, Peanut, Arrow and Llama Dream! We will proceed with the assignment of the animals and receive all the useful information for a carefree experience. This moment will last about 15 minutes.
And here we are ready for our walk with alpacas and llamas: we will walk in the splendid natural setting of the Alta Langa, entering woods and crossing vineyards; along the way we will encounter numerous plant species, from acacia to linden trees. The guide will not fail to recount anecdotes and curiosities about the territory and the animals.
After approximately 4 km, we will finally return to the meeting point. The experience will last about 2 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone without age limits. Persons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult (participant or accompanying person depending on age).
The participant must be at least 10 years old and is the one leading the alpaca. The accompanying person must be at least 3 years old and is the one who does not lead the alpaca.
Children aged 0 to 2 years participate free of charge. It is advisable to carry any infants in a baby carrier/backpack; buggies are only permitted if suitable for rough terrain.
The experience is not accessible to persons with motor and non-motor disabilities.

The experience takes place throughout the year and is confirmed when the minimum number of 2 participants is reached.
The duration of the experience may vary depending on the pace of the participants.
The organiser has 4 alpacas and 1 llama for a maximum of 5 participants leading the animal.
Leashed dogs are only allowed on the walk if held by the accompanying person. On request, it is possible to leave your dog at the facility: contact the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail for more information and to request the service.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
