If you need to clear your mind, this horseback ride is the right solution for the weekend. A one-hour ride through the Rugareto forest in the province of Varese is enough to leave all your stress behind.
Familiarise yourself with your horse and ride 3.5 km of wooded trails together with an experienced equestrian guide, discovering the surrounding nature.
Whether you are a beginner or a slightly more experienced rider, the charm of this forest will enchant you. So, are you with us?
What we will do
We will meet the equestrian guide at the stable in Cislago (VA) and, before setting off on our ride, we will listen to some useful advice for the ride and to get familiar with our horse.
After a 10-minute initial briefing, we will enter the Rugareto forest to begin our ride.
Now in tune with our horses, we will let our guide lead us along the flat paths of the route, alternating shady wooded stretches with sunnier ones among the fields. At last, we will be far from the noise of the city and we will relax listening to the pattering of our proud companion's hooves and perhaps, who knows, even the muttering of some toad, not by chance a symbolic animal of this forest.
If you are a beginner, we will proceed at a walking pace the whole way. If, on the other hand, this is not your first experience on horseback and you want to add a pinch of energy to this moment of relaxation, you can trot or gallop for a few short stretches.
In all, we will cover 3.5 km in about an hour.
At the end of the walk, we will return to the stable and, before saying goodbye, we will take a moment to look after our horse.
Who it is aimed at
The walk is simple and suitable for everyone from the age of 4.
Children under the age of 18 can participate in the activity without being accompanied by an adult, subject to their parents signing a release form. In addition, children under the age of 14 will be hand-led by the guide.

The activity takes place every weekend of the year.
The riding is English-style.
Depending on the age and experience of the participants, the equestrian guide will participate in the activity on horseback or on foot.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
