Who knows if they had Parmigiano Reggiano cheese in the Middle Ages.
They certainly didn't during our horseback riding tour for couples in the province of Parma: in the company of an equestrian guide, you will ride through the characteristic medieval village of Tabiano in the shadow of the scenic castle.
An experience lasting over 2 hours, which will end with a toast together with your special someone!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the meeting point in Tabiano Castello, a hamlet in the municipality of Salsomaggiore Terme (PR) . You will then meet the equestrian guide, who will accompany you on this adventure as a couple!
The experience will begin with a welcome presentation of the guide and the stable. This will be followed by assigning horses, riding and learning the basics of horse riding. The guide will not fail to provide all the information you need for a carefree experience.
And so your horseback riding tour will begin: you will venture into the medieval village of Tabiano Castello, riding along the ancient walls until you reach the scenic castle; the panorama will take in medieval buildings, characteristic courtyards and views of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines. The guide leads on horseback and the walk takes place at a leisurely pace.
Along the way, there will be stops during which the guide will tell you about the history of the village and the castle, making you the protagonists of a journey through time (in the saddle) !
Finally, you will return to the meeting point where an aperitif will be waiting for you: Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, olives, taralli and other snacks accompanied by 1 bottle of prosecco.
The horseback ride will last about 1 hour and 15 minutes; the total experience will last about 2 ½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable from the age of 18.
A maximum weight of 110 kg is required to participate.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable as a first horse ride.

The experience takes place all year round.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
