1-hour horseback ride in the province of Verona with typical aperitif

We have discovered the formula for exploring the area as a true local:

1 - Participate in a horseback ride in the company of a licensed equestrian guide, with whom you will venture along a scenic route in the heart of Lessinia.

2 - Taste an aperitif of typical products prepared by a local farm, enjoying the scents and flavours of the area (and toasting with your fellow adventurers).

An experience of over 1 hour, discovering the province of Verona in (and with) all the senses!

What we will do

The appointment is 5 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Rosaro, a hamlet in the municipality of Grezzana (VR). Awaiting us will be the licensed equestrian guide who will accompany us on this adventure!

Having gathered all the participants, we will meet the horses and proceed with the assignment of the steed. We will then enter the field, mount the saddle and learn the basics of riding. The guide will not fail to provide us with all the information we need for a carefree experience.

And here we are ready to begin our horseback ride: after a short stretch on asphalt, we will take a path through the forest and continue riding in a natural setting of countryside and pastureland. We will venture along a scenic route with views of the Lessinia area, Monte Baldo, Monte Cornetto and other mountains; the panorama may extend as far as the city of Verona and the Apennines! The guide generally leads the walk on horseback.

Finally, we will return to the meeting point where an aperitif of typical products will be waiting for us: cold meats and cheeses prepared by an adjacent farm as well as vegetables, bruschette and other local delicacies according to availability. We will toast with a spritz or soft drink.

The horseback ride will last 50 minutes; the experience will last approximately 1 ½ hours in total.

Who it is aimed at

The experience is suitable from the age of 18.

A maximum weight of 100 kg is required to participate.

The experience is of an easy level and suitable as a first horse ride.

Attention! The guide will contact you 1 day before the booked date to confirm the course of the experience according to the latest weather report.

The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed once the minimum number of 2 participants has been reached.

Each horse will be equipped with a saddlebag to hold the participant's wallet, telephone and keys. Other and possible personal items must be deposited in the stables.

Free parking is available on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
