We know you can't wait to find out what the gift is.
And in fact, we'll tell you straight away: by participating in our horseback ride in the province of Rome, you will receive a packet of (delicious) artisan biscuits as a gift! A sweet souvenir of your adventure in the saddle, discovering the Castelli Romani Park.
A 1-hour experience, to fill (and sweeten) a winter day!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Rocca di Papa (RM) . Awaiting us will be the equestrian guide who will accompany us on this adventure!
Having gathered all the participants and handed over the equipment, we will proceed with the assignment of the steed. This will be followed by a ground approach to familiarise ourselves with the animal, during which we will clean and brush it. We will then mount the horse and learn the basics of horseback riding; the guide will provide all the necessary information for a carefree experience.
And here we are ready for our horseback ride: we will ride in the setting of the Castelli Romani Park, along a nature trail that leads to a prairie covered in foliage or winter cover. To warm up the atmosphere, there will also be a warm blanket that we will keep on our legs. The guide will lead the group on horseback or on foot according to the participants' needs, and the walk will take place at pace.
We will finally return to the meeting point where we will receive a packet of handmade biscuits as a gift, produced by a local biscuit factory, for a sweet souvenir of this adventure!
The experience will last about 1 hour in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 4 and up. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied to the meeting point by an adult.
A maximum weight of 100 kg is required to participate.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable as a first horse ride. Experienced riders are invited to contact the guide at the contact details given in the booking confirmation e-mail to request in advance that the walk be undertaken at a pace other than stride at the guide's discretion.
Other information
Attention! In the event that the booked experience takes place after another ride, the horses will already be saddled and therefore it will not be possible to attend the initial preparation phase.
The experience takes place from November to February and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 2 participants.

Free parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 48 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
