And it's the trail we'll follow during our horseback ride in Policoro: in the company of an equestrian guide, we'll ride among typical local fruit trees, admiring them in their blossoming and ripening phase.
A 1-hour experience, to be enjoyed in any season!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the meeting point in Policoro (MT). Awaiting us will be the equestrian guide who will accompany us on this adventure!
Having gathered all the participants, we will meet the horses and proceed to saddle up. The guide will not fail to provide us with the basics of horse riding and all the information we need for a carefree experience. This first moment will last approximately 10 minutes.
And here we are ready for our horseback ride: we will venture into the countryside in the province of Matera, on a plateau between the Agri and Sinni rivers. We will ride among fruit trees such as peach, apricot and strawberry trees characteristic of Basilicata; depending on the season, we may see them in blossom or laden with fruit. The guide will lead the group on horseback, providing constant support.
We will then return to the meeting point. The horse ride will last 1 hour; the total experience will last 1 hour and 10 minutes.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable from 6 years of age; children ride ponies or horses at the guide's discretion. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult in the riding hall.
The experience requires a maximum weight of 115 kg.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable as a first horse ride.

Attention! The meeting point is about 8 km from the centre of Policoro.
The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed when the minimum number of 2 participants is reached.
