Full description
Riding a horse is always an exciting experience: even more so if small lakes, birds and a famous abbey await you along the way!
We are waiting for you at the stables on the Ferrara plain: on the saddle of your steed you will be able to immerse yourself in a flat country trail, crossing small valleys and brackish lakes populated by birds.
At the end of the route you will findPomposa Abbey, a centre of spirituality of historical importance since the Middle Ages. Shall we start saddling your horse?
What we will do
We will meet at the meeting point in Codigoro (FE) 10 minutes before the time chosen at the time of booking.
Here we will find our guide and horses, already prepared for the walk, waiting for us. The first 10 minutes will be devoted toapproaching the horse from the ground: in the field we will learn all the main commands to carry out the activity safely.
We will then mount the saddle to begin the walk: along a flat 4-5 km route, we will proceed at pace (with English or American riding technique) along small valleys and small brackish lakes populated by birds. A walking guide will accompany us along the entire route.
We will then reach, after about 2 km,Pomposa Abbey: here, those who wish to and depending on the days and opening hours, will be able to descend for 10 minutes to visit the abbey.
We will then return to the riding school after about 50 minutes of walking. The activity will last a total of 1 hour.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is open to everyone, with a minimum age of 14 years and a maximum weight of 90 kg. The experience is ideal for beginners.
Minors can do the activity independently, but must be accompanied to the riding school by an adult.
Other information
The activity takes place every day from May to October.
Any accompanying persons can stay on the ranch, where they will find a refreshment point with drinks and snacks. It is possible to stay at the ranch with dogs on a leash.
No backpacks or bags may be carried on the walk; a maximum of one baby carrier is permitted .
The entrance fee to theAbbey, payable locally, costs between €2 and €5 depending on age. The visit to the Abbey is optional and depends on the opening hours and days.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
