Have you ever ridden through history?
Just a short distance from Alessandria, a horseback ride through nature, history and good food awaits you ! In the company of a riding instructor, you will ride along ancient Roman roads, vineyards and lush forests and listen to fascinating stories about this mysterious territory.
And after the riding adventure? A well-deserved lunch to end the experience in the best way!
What we will do
The appointment is at 10 a.m. in Cassine (AL). From here, the guide will drive us to the stables, 10 minutes away, where splendid horses - Quarter Horses, Andalusians, Argentines and Appaloosas - are waiting for us, already saddled and ready to go.
After a 30-minute lesson, in which we will learn how to communicate with our horse and move in harmony with him, we will start the walk.
We will cover 4 km on dirt tracks, surrounded by greenery and the tranquillity of nature. The guide will accompany us on horseback, telling us fascinating anecdotes about the history of these places, such as the legend of the Marquis of Monferrato. And only for experienced riders, we will venture to the foot of theAbbey of Santa Giustina, a Lombard jewel shrouded in mystery.
At the end of the 1-hour walk, a delicious lunch (included) at the Cassine restaurant will be waiting for us at the initial meeting point. The menu includes 3 courses, water and a quart of wine and may vary depending on the season.
The experience lasts a total of about 2 ½ hours, including briefing, horse riding and lunch.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable from the age of 18.
A maximum weight of 90 kg is required to participate.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable as a first horse ride.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
