The perfect refuge from the summer heat? The forest. The best way to venture there? With a horseback ride!
Come to Santa Caterina to enjoy a relaxing ride along the paths of the Stelvio Park, amidst the chirping of the birds and the roaring of the Frodolfo River. At your side you will have an equestrian guide, ready to take incredible souvenir photos of the experience.
You can also decide the duration of your ride, choosing between 1-hour or 2-hour options.
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Santa Caterina (SO). Awaiting us will be an equestrian guide who will accompany us on this horseback ride through the forest!
Before we get on the saddle, we will attend a short briefing of about 5 minutes during which the guide will explain the basics of horse riding in order to have a carefree experience, after which we will be assigned a horse and be ready for our ride.
The ride will take place within the Stelvio Park, mostly along the banks of the Frodolfo River. We will ride mostly through wooded terrain, venturing at pace along mountain paths, completely surrounded by nature. On the way, we may even encounter some friendly forest dwellers including foxes and squirrels! During the walk , the guide will follow us to immortalise this experience with souvenir photos.
We will finally return to the meeting point. The experience will last a total of 1 hour or 2 hours depending on the option selected when booking.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 3 and up; children under 18 may participate with signed parental authorisation.
A maximum weight of 80 kg is required to participate in the activity.
The activity is of an easy level and suitable for first-time horse riders.
Other information
The activity takes place in July and August.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
Any accompanying persons can wait in the riding hall or at the nearby bar.
Dogs are allowed both in the riding hall and during the experience if kept on a leash by an accompanying person or guide.
